After serving five years with the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division, Ian began serving the Escondido area as a Staff Accountant in 2004. He worked extensively in the area of income tax compliance before becoming a Financial Advisor in 2007. As a Partner at Pathway Advisors he uses his expertise in both disciplines to assist individuals and small business owners in navigating the financial markets and integrating their financial needs with current tax compliance and planning concerns.
After graduating from California State University - San Marcos in 2007, he became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2009. He then went on to complete the Personal Financial Planning Certificate program from the University of California – Irvine and earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation in 2011. He is currently enrolled in the Master of Science (MS) program for Financial Planning and Taxation / Estate Planning at Golden Gate University.
Ian is married to Melissa and they have two children — Liam and Sydney. In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities with his wife and kids, and exploring local craft breweries and wineries.
After growing up watching his single mother struggle with financial matters Jeff decided to pursue a career in financial literacy and planning. He has been working helping families and small businesses in San Diego for the last 10 years.
He graduated from California State University San Marcos in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. In 2013 he completed the Executive Financial Planner Advanced Certificate Program offered by San Diego State University and passed the CFP® exam in 2014. Jeff also holds a Professional Plan Consultant™, or PPC™ from fi360®.
Jeff specializes in many areas of financial planning including Investment Planning, College Savings Planning and Retirement Planning. He has many year’s experience working with employer sponsored plans, including Sharps Hospital, Scripps Hospital and many other large plans.
Jeff has been a resident of Southern California for 37 years and is committed to helping the community. In his spare time he enjoys camping, backpacking, fishing, mountain biking and collecting LP's.
Scott has served families and businesses in Escondido with financial planning services since 1997. He began his career as as a Certified Public accountant in 1989.
As a CPA and financial advisor, he has a wide range of professional knowledge that he brings to his clients. Some of his areas of focus include Investment Planning, Retirement Planning, Estate Planning and Charitable Giving.
Scott has been a member of Rotary International since 1984. He's served and assisted many other charitable and community organizations over the years including Friends of Neurosurgery and Helping Others More Efficiently.
In his spare time Scott enjoys listening to music, playing the guitar and watching movies.
Chad's clients represent a diverse group of successful families, individuals and businesses in Escondido and the surrounding area.
"It is very rewarding to lead clients to better financial decision making," says Chad. "Helping them reach their financial goals is something I enjoy very much."
Chad is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®). He graduated from California State University, San Marcos with a Bachelor of Business Adminstration - Accounting degree in 2001.
Chad has been a resident of Southern California for 39 years.
In his free time Chad spends as much time with his family as he can. He and his wife Diana stay busy raising their three Chihuahua-mix dogs as well as foster dogs in need to help them find loving families. Other hobbies include: Fishing, SCUBA, traveling, and playing guitar.
As Branch Office Administrator, Christine ensures that each client’s needs are tended to in a timely manner. She efficiently handles the day-to-day administrative operations while providing an outstanding quality of client service. Whether it’s opening new accounts or arranging for a distribution need, Christine will take great care of you.
A second generation native San Diegan, Christine earned her Bachelor of Science in Finance in 1988 and her MBA in 2004 from San Diego State University (Go Aztecs!). She has performed a variety of corporate finance and accounting roles over the past 30 plus years.
Christine has a strong belief in personal financial planning, which she attributes to her desire to work in the financial advisory field. “I really enjoy being a part of helping client’s meet their financial goals” says Christine.
Christine lives with her husband John, their two dogs (Sami & Darla), and three cats (Bonnie, Clyde, and Lucy) in Escondido. In her time off she enjoys spending time with her family, working on her house, watching sports, and playing cards.
